Kforce has a client that is seeking a Product Owner (ServiceNow) in Chicago, IL. Key Responsibilities:
- Product Owner (ServiceNow) will collaborate with Manager and other stakeholders to define and manage the product vision, roadmap, and priorities for the ServiceNow platform
- Support and improve agile processes by assisting with sprint planning, backlog grooming, and prioritization to meet critical milestones and deliverables
- Write and refine user stories, ensuring clear acceptance criteria are defined and aligned with stakeholder needs
- Partner with the team to break down work into actionable tasks and manage sprint execution, ensuring alignment with approach
- Collaborate with the agile teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions
- Work closely with the CMDB team to ensure a comprehensive inventory of hardware and software, supporting patching processes and infrastructure management
- As a Product Owner (ServiceNow), you will ensure readiness for major deliverables, such as the migration from Cherwell to ServiceNow, and assist in knowledge base article preparation and milestones leading into May
- Serve as the key liaison for prioritization across ITSM, CSM, and other modules within the ServiceNow platform
- Provide guidance and support to the team in the absence of a release lead or tester
- ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified System Administrator, Certified Implementation Specialist) are strongly preferred
- 5 years of experience as a Product Owner, with a focus on ServiceNow
- Experience managing CMDB processes, workflows, and other integrations within the ServiceNow platform
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and user story development
- Excellent communication, prioritization, and leadership skills, with the ability to drive team alignment
- Familiarity with ITSM, HR, and Finance processes and how they align with ServiceNow
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and third-party vendors
