- Organize material and complete writing assignment according to set standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style and terminology
- Maintain records and files of work and revisions
- Confer with client to establish technical specifications and to determine subject material to be developed for publication
- Collection/Documentation of documentation requirements (use case, audience,
- bjective of documentation prior to creation/development stage)
- Create/Draft/Maintain technical documentation (further details noted in 'types of
- Editorial Review and Co-Collaboration with subject matter experts to produce technical
- Accountable for evaluating/monitoring document readiness for broad consumption
- Create/Draft/Maintain marketing content and communication templates related to
- Types of technical documents within scope: software manuals, software learning modules,
- Technology involved in technical document creation and maintenance: EngHub,
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science or english, journalism, communications
- 10 years of experience with cloud or other tech
- 10 years of experience with technical writing/communications
- 10 years of experience with manual/instructional writing
- Experience in in creating documentation for a technical audience
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills
- Ability to read some programming code
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
