Project Coordinator

Responsibilities

Kforce's client is looking for a Project Coordinator in Fremont, CA. Summary: You will be playing a critical role in supporting projects coordinating activities between project managers and field superintendents, supporting material procurements and assisting in tracking projects' cost and schedules performance and ensuring deliverable dates are achieved. Responsibilities:

• Project Start-up support and task tracking including contracts, proposal letters, work authorizations, creation and/or maintenance of project directories and ensure all applicable permits are in place
• Support Construction activities to ensure efficient process workflow
• Monitor and report field progress
• Support Construction documentation management to ensure configuration control including submitting RFIs and submittals, tracking as-builts and ensuring receipt of QA/QC documents
• Procure materials to support field activities, including obtaining supplier quotes, analyze for best value, verify receipt and coordinate delivery to field teams
• Project Close-Out tasks include coordination of final inspections with local officials, close-out of all permits, documenting lessons learned and transmitting actual cost and schedule data to the estimating team for use in future project development
  
  

Requirements

• MEP background is ideal or structural; Not architectural
• Ability to effectively prioritize with strong time management skills in a fast-paced environment
• Superior verbal and written communication skills
• Highly organized with a strong attention to detail
• High level of professionalism and strong sense of urgency
• Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
• Proficiency in Bluebeam, Aconex, PlanGrid, and MS Project preferred
• Ability to work with minimal guidance; Proactive, motivated self-starter
• Exposure to MEP preferred
  
  

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
