Kforce has a client that is seeking a Python/.NET Engineer - Staff Level in Salt Lake City, UT. Job Overview: In this role, you will lead the design and development of complex, high-performance web applications and services that drive our product strategy. This role requires a blend of deep technical expertise and strong leadership, as you will work with cross-functional teams to architect scalable solutions, mentor junior developers, and ensure alignment with our cloud-native, microservices-based vision. Department Overview: Within the fast-paced Solution Engineering department, you will play a pivotal role in bridging product requirements and technical execution. Collaborating closely with Solution Architects, Product Owners, and DevOps teams, you will help steer the evolution of our technical landscape while upholding high standards for performance, security, and maintainability. Key Responsibilities:

- Architect, design, and implement end-to-end solutions that meet business needs using Python and C# in a microservices and API-driven environment
- Collaborate with solution architects and product owners to define technical requirements and develop innovative approaches that align with our long-term annuity product vision
- Lead development efforts on scalable web applications hosted on Azure, employing Docker (and Kubernetes, when applicable) for container orchestration
- Oversee code quality, performance tuning, and system security through best practices, thorough code reviews, and continuous integration/deployment strategies
- Mentor and guide junior developers, promoting a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks to streamline development and deployment processes
- Troubleshoot complex issues and work with DevOps teams to implement proactive monitoring and alerting solutions
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 10 years of full stack development experience with a strong background in both front-end and back-end technologies
- Extensive experience with Azure cloud services and containerization (Docker; Kubernetes exposure is a plus)
- Solid experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and using project management tools like Jira and Confluence
- Proven expertise in developing microservices and API-driven systems using Python and C#
- Strong understanding of modern web development practices, database design (e.g., SQL Server), and software security principles
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a track record of building high-performance, scalable applications
- Demonstrated ability to mentor team members and lead technical initiatives
- Experience with advanced container orchestration (Kubernetes) and CI/CD tools
- Familiarity with data-centric systems, analytics, or financial/annuity product development
- Exposure to additional cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and modern DevOps practices
- Industry certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate) are a plus

Salary : $150,000 - $170,000
