Kforce has an enterprise client seeking a Quality Assurance Tech 2 in Seattle, WA. Summary: In this role, the Quality Assurance Technician tests highly scalable applications and products that provide highly federated development environments to builders, both manually and with automated tools. They are excellent individual contributors, capable of taking up tasks from start to completion. The Quality Assurance Technician would be responsible for understanding the features and components and detailed functional requirements well enough, coming up with the test cases with some guidance, test execution and reporting with a high bar on quality. QATs are technically savvy in use of software, computers and devices, run automated scripts, analyzes failures, support automation, can install and configure software, can use debug settings, have technical ability to gather logs, traces, etc. to add to bug reports when provided with instructions. The Quality Assurance Technician will assist developers or other testers and maintain a high quality test environment, recommend improvements to SOPs, tools and metrics. Responsibilities:

- Testing Applications and Products, both manually and using automated tools
- Install and configure software, use debug settings and have technical ability to gather logs, traces, etc. to add to bug reports when provided with instructions
- Run automated scripts, analyze failures, support automation
- Identify issues, deep dive, troubleshoot, communicate to stakeholders and escalation of issue and provide status reports
- Assist developers or other testers and maintain a high-quality test environment, recommend improvements to SOPs, tools and metrics
- Quality assurance processes& automated testing processes
- Exposure to any computer or coding languages
- Good analytical ability and QA acumen
- Ability to understand technical specifications and analyze log files
- Knowledge of QA methodology and tools
- Preferably, have experience in Java/Python-based automation and/or user-level automation tools such as Selenium
