Kforce has a client in San Antonio, TX seeking a Quality Assurance. Manual Testing & Test Case Execution:
- Design, document, and execute test cases for functional, regression, usability, and exploratory testing
- Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools
- Perform end-to-end testing to validate software functionality against business requirements
- Work closely with developers, business analysts, and product managers to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage
- Provide feedback on user experience and software usability
- Suggest process improvements to enhance software quality and efficiency
- Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test execution reports
- Ensure test documentation is up to date and aligns with industry best practices
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning and retrospectives
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2-4 years of experience in software quality assurance with a focus on manual testing
- Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC
- Experience with bug-tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Azure DevOps)
- Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation
- Experience testing web and mobile applications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an Agile environment
