Kforce has a client seeking a Release Manager in Miami, FL. Key Responsibilities:
- Release Manager will oversee the end-to-end release management process for the Proxima Project, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating releases across multiple teams
- Collaborate with development, QA, product, and operations teams to ensure seamless deployment of software updates
- Develop and maintain release schedules, ensuring alignment with project timelines and business objectives
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with releases, ensuring minimal disruption to production environments
- Manage version control, build processes, and deployment pipelines
- Implement and maintain release documentation, including release notes, deployment guides, and rollback procedures
- As a Release Manager, you will establish best practices for release governance, ensuring compliance with company standards and policies
- Coordinate release readiness reviews, ensuring all teams are prepared for upcoming releases
- Track and communicate release progress, issues, and outcomes to stakeholders
- 3-5 years of experience in release management or software deployment roles
- Strong understanding of release planning, build pipelines, and deployment processes
- Experience working with tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab, or similar CI/CD platforms
- Proven experience managing releases in a hybrid environment with both on-site and remote teams
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple releases simultaneously
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Experience in the cruise line, hospitality, or travel industry is a plus
- Experience supporting large-scale projects with multiple dependencies
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and release management best practices
- Ability to troubleshoot build issues and deployment failures
