- Release Train Coordination: Manage the end-to-end process of the Agile Release Train (ART), ensuring multiple Agile teams work in alignment to achieve project goals, deadlines, and quality standards
- Program Increment (PI) Planning: Facilitate PI planning sessions, ensuring alignment between teams, stakeholders, and business objectives; Help teams define deliverables and goals for each PI
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Act as a liaison between multiple Agile teams, stakeholders, and leadership, fostering open communication and ensuring smooth coordination for successful delivery
- Risk Management: Identify, track, and mitigate risks and issues that may impact the delivery of the release, ensuring that the ART can resolve blockers quickly and effectively
- Continuous Improvement: Drive the continuous improvement of Agile processes within the ART; Facilitate retrospectives and process reviews, encouraging teams to improve their workflows and delivery methods
- Metrics and Reporting: Track ART progress through key performance indicators (KPIs) such as velocity, release cadence, and quality metrics; Provide regular updates to leadership on the ART's progress, challenges, and improvements
- Stakeholder Management: Communicate regularly with business stakeholders, product owners, and other leadership to ensure alignment on priorities, timelines, and scope changes
- Team Leadership: Support Scrum Masters and Agile teams by coaching and providing guidance on Agile principles, practices, and ceremonies; Ensure that teams remain focused on achieving their objectives and meeting commitments
- Release Management: Oversee the coordination of releases, ensuring that product features are integrated, tested, and delivered on time with minimal disruption
- Proven experience in Agile methodologies (e.g., SAFe, Scrum, Kanban), with a strong understanding of Agile Release Trains (ART)
- Experience with Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Rally, VersionOne) to manage and track release progress
- Excellent leadership and facilitation skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage large-scale programs and multiple teams
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with stakeholders, teams, and leadership
- Ability to navigate complex situations, resolve conflicts, and ensure alignment across multiple teams and stakeholders
- Certification in SAFe (e.g., SAFe Release Train Engineer, SAFe Agilist) or other relevant Agile frameworks
- Experience working in large-scale Agile transformations or managing enterprise-level programs
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
