Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Accountant in Longwood, FL onsite 3-4 days a week. About the Company: Our client is a dynamic and growing company that has recently refocused its energy on strategic growth. They are seeking a highly qualified Senior Accountant to bring structure and expertise to their finance team. Overview: The Senior Accountant will play a crucial role in managing the company's accounting processes, ensuring compliance, and supporting the financial health of the organization. Key Responsibilities:

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.

Overview: The Senior Accountant will play a crucial role in managing the company's accounting processes, ensuring compliance, and supporting the financial health of the organization. Key Responsibilities:
- Accounting Processes: Senior Accountant will manage the full spectrum of accounting tasks, including write-up work, bank reconciliations, financial reporting, and year-end tax preparation
- Compliance: Work closely with banks and CPAs to ensure all reporting requirements are met for compliance and year-end taxes
- Payroll Management: Oversee full-service payroll processes, including tax filings for payroll and sales tax
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) teams to ensure smooth financial operations
- Regulatory Compliance: As a Senior Accountant, you will stay updated on regulatory requirements and ensure the company's practices are in line with industry standards
- International Exposure: Leverage international accounting experience to support the company's global operations. (a nice-to-have, not a firm requirement)
- Software Proficiency: Utilize O365 and Famous (industry-specific software) for efficient financial management
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with a strong background in managing comprehensive accounting processes
- Proficiency in O365 and Famous software (a plus, not required), strong analytical skills, and attention to detail
- International Exposure: Experience with international accounting practices is ideal
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with regulatory compliance and reporting requirements
- Payroll and HR: Experience in managing payroll processes and HR responsibilities
