Kforce's client, a well-established production company in Eatontown, NJ that has been in business for over 40 years, is looking to hire a Senior Accountant to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), preparing financial statements, month end close experience, account reconciliations, journal entries & more. This position offers a huge opportunity for growth within the company. This role is hybrid, located right off Garden State Parkway. - Preparing accurate and timely financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Performing detailed account reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies
- Leading the month-end closing process, including preparing adjusting entries and reviewing financial data
- Preparing documentation and assisting external auditors with audit procedures
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- CPA or CPA candidate a plus
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory compliance (GAAP)
- Skills with a large ERP system and Excel
