Senior Accountant

Responsibilities

Kforce's client, a well-established production company in Eatontown, NJ that has been in business for over 40 years, is looking to hire a Senior Accountant to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), preparing financial statements, month end close experience, account reconciliations, journal entries & more. This position offers a huge opportunity for growth within the company. This role is hybrid, located right off Garden State Parkway. • Preparing accurate and timely financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Performing detailed account reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies
• Leading the month-end closing process, including preparing adjusting entries and reviewing financial data
• Preparing documentation and assisting external auditors with audit procedures
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• CPA or CPA candidate a plus
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory compliance (GAAP)
• Skills with a large ERP system and Excel
  
  

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
