In this role, the Senior Analyst will collaborate with a junior analyst and be responsible for reviewing financial deliverables, supporting revenue recognition processes, and ensuring accuracy in financial reporting. This position requires someone with strong analytical skills, the ability to troubleshoot discrepancies, and experience working with financial models, particularly in revenue recognition. This position requires someone with strong analytical skills, the ability to troubleshoot discrepancies, and experience working with financial models, particularly in revenue recognition. Responsibilities:
- Support day-to-day operations by chasing down inputs needed for Percent of Completion (POC) revenue recognition models, process revenue adjustment entries related to rev rec
- Assist in supporting monthly or quarterly balance sheet reconciliation reviews, depending on timing
- Provide guidance and quality checks for the team on reporting requirements and ensure accurate booking of revenue transactions
- Collaborate with relevant teams across the business to trace down missing invoicing or shipment transactions and ensure proper posting or recognition of revenue when criteria are met
- Assist in ensuring proper revenue recognition and adjustments are made in accordance with internal policies and accounting standards
- 7 years of experience in accounting
- Analytical
- Intermediate Excel experience (SUMIF, pivot tables) required
- ERP is Oracle, but experience is not required
