Kforce has a client that is seeking a fully remote Senior Big Data Engineer to join their team. Summary: This mid-level engineer will be working with Machine Learning Engineers and Data Engineers day in and day out and will be responsible for building the API's, automation, and transformation of data for the recommendations team. They are expecting this person to be proficient in Java and Python, have some experience with ETL, Big Data, Spark, along with the abilities to build API's and backend development. They can be a full-on data engineer that knows some Java development, or a Java developer that has strong data/big data experience.

- Hadoop/Big Data experience
- Java and/or Python
- ETL, Data Transformation, SQL, etc.
- GCP
- Strong communication, innovation, passionate, want to learn and reach new horizons
- Ability to build pipelines
- ML experience a plus
