Senior .Net Developer-Appian

Responsibilities

Kforce is partnering with a valued client in Milwaukee, WI to fill a Senior .Net Developer position. They are looking for a candidate that is skilled in Appian development. This individual will work closely with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions that meet business needs.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Appian development and a solid background in software engineering practices
• .NET Generalist with strong preference for experience writing/using web services
• Experience with Test Driven Development
• Experience with Appian integration capabilities (Web APIs, Connected Systems, etc.)
• Solid understanding of relational databases and data modeling
• Well-rounded developer (e.g. integration, back-end, front-end), SQL, React and Appian experience is required
• Proficiency with Appian features such as SAIL, Process Modeler, Records and Reports
• Exposure to Entity Framework or other ORM
• Good communicator who wants to work in a team environment, comfortable performing pair programming
• Analytical - not afraid to dive into complex code and data to troubleshoot issues
• Creative problem solver who is automation focused - we're looking to not have recurring work come back to us, but to better automate or teach/train users for self service
• Motivated by small quick wins and process improvement
• Comfortable working in an agile environment; Prefer experience working in Agile
• Rich developer community with lunch & learns on best practices; Focus on software artisanship
• A DevOps culture; We use automated deployment and are constantly looking to improve in the DevOps space; Our DBAs/App Admins are part of our collaboration
• Agile/lean practices with diversity of projects
• Candidate is preferred out of Milwaukee or Louisville but will do remote for the right candidate; 2-3 days onsite will be required if in one of those 2 locations
  
  

Nice To Have

• Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate), experience with other low-code/no-code platforms
• Background in Java or another object-oriented programming language
• Ok to have but not primary: SSRS, MVC, CA Autosys, JavaScript frameworks (Angular, etc.)
  
  

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
