Senior .NET Developer

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client in Maryland Heights, MO that is seeking a Senior .NET Engineer to support the development and migration of an enterprise-critical application within a leading telecommunications company. This role will be heavily focused on backend development using .NET Core, with some frontend work involving JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React, or Vue). The position also involves working with Kubernetes, AWS infrastructure, and SQL databases. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills to engage with business stakeholders, BAs, and PMs in design discussions. Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using .NET Core
• Implement and enhance AWS infrastructure, focusing on logging, security, and scalability
• Contribute to the long-term migration of the application to AWS (experience with Azure is also acceptable)
• Work with Kubernetes to optimize containerized application deployment and orchestration
• Develop and maintain frontend components using JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React, or Vue)
• Manage SQL databases, ensuring performance and reliability
• Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to define technical requirements and participate in design sessions
• Utilize GitLab/GitHub for version control and CI/CD pipeline management
  
  

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in .NET Core development
• Proficiency in JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React, or Vue)
• Experience with Kubernetes for container management
• Hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure, particularly logging, security, and deployment (Azure experience is also considered)
• Strong expertise in SQL database development and optimization
• Experience working in enterprise-level environments with complex architectures
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage in design discussions with business stakeholders

• Prior experience in the telecommunications industry
• Familiarity with GitLab/GitHub for source control and CI/CD
  
  

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
