Kforce has a client in Portland, ME that is seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist. Responsibilities:
- The Senior Payroll Specialist will process payroll for 26,000 employees on a bi-weekly pay cycle
- Manage payroll operations using Infor and Workforce manager
- Ensure accuracy in payroll tax calculations, payments, and compliance with federal and state regulations
- Perform payroll reconciliations
- Utilize Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables) to analyze payroll data and identify discrepancies
- Collaborate with Workforce Management to support payroll analytics and reporting
- The Senior Payroll Specialist will address complex payroll issues and resolve discrepancies efficiently
- Provide support and guidance to junior payroll team members
- Extensive payroll experience, with the ability to manage payroll from start to finish
- Strong understanding of payroll tax regulations and compliance requirements
- Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables) and payroll systems (N4, Kronos)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work cross-functionally
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting while meeting deadlines
- Must have excellent communication skills and work well with others
