The ideal candidate will possess strong project management expertise, exceptional communication skills, and proven experience working on regulatory projects (e.g., FCC, FTC) or in close collaboration with legal teams. This role involves frequent interaction with executives, including Vice Presidents and legal counsel, and requires the ability to pivot quickly as priorities evolve. Responsibilities:

- Regulatory Project Oversight: Manage complex projects focused on compliance with government regulations, including preventing unauthorized account changes (e.g., SIM Swap/Port Out fraud prevention) and implementing customer safety initiatives (e.g., Safe at Home legislation)
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Liaise with internal legal teams, business stakeholders, and external partners to ensure alignment on project goals and compliance requirements
- Stakeholder Communication: Present project status, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership and executive teams, providing clear and concise updates
- Project Planning & Execution: Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets using tools such as Smartsheets, SharePoint, Jira, and/or MS Project
- Risk & Issue Management: Identify project risks and issues promptly; devise and implement mitigation strategies in collaboration with the project team
- Continuous Improvement: Monitor evolving regulations, industry best practices, and potential fraud tactics; adjust and refine processes to maintain compliance and reduce risk
- Resource Coordination: Oversee 4-5 active projects concurrently, effectively managing resources, timelines, and priorities
- Project Management Expertise: Demonstrated success managing regulatory/compliance projects or high-level initiatives in a fast-paced setting
- Leadership & Communication: Proven ability to communicate with and present to executive-level stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- Adaptability: Track record of thriving in environments where priorities and requirements change rapidly (-pivot on a dime-)
- Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using standard project management tools (e.g., MS Project, SharePoint)
- Telecommunications Experience: Familiarity with telecom operations, mobile services, or similar regulatory environments
- Regulatory Knowledge: Experience with FCC, FTC, or related government regulations, particularly involving consumer protections and fraud prevention
- Legal Collaboration: Background working directly with in-house legal counsel, compliance teams, or similar stakeholders
- Smartsheets/Jira Familiarity: Exposure to these platforms or similar tools for project tracking and collaboration
