Kforce has a client in need of a Senior Salesforce Quality Assurance Analyst in Boston, MA. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with development teams and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into comprehensive test cases and scenarios
- Design and develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Salesforce applications, including customizations and integrations to ensure system requirements are met
- Execute manual and automated tests to validate the functionality, performance, and security of Salesforce solutions
- Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools such as JIRA
- Perform regression testing to validate fixes and ensure that new enhancements do not adversely impact existing functionality
- Review test results and evaluate for conformance to design
- Serve as subject matter specialist providing testing know-how to make our software solutions defect free when delivered
- Provide regular status updates on testing progress, issues, and risks to your Project Manager to ensure timely delivery
- Testing the application using sound engineering practices and employing solid Source Code Management practices
- Software black box and white box testing, load testing, and integrated systems testing
- Testing of database content and multiple interfaces, include SOA and Web Services
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies
- Contribute to the overall quality assurance strategy and participate in team meetings and knowledge-sharing sessions
- 5 years of experience as a software quality assurance specialist
- In-depth knowledge of Salesforce platform features, configurations, and capabilities
- At least 1 year of experience with web services APIs and complex data structures
- 1 year of experience with COTS testing tools such as Silk, RFT, QTP, Selenium or LoadRunner
- Testing experience in different web browsers on various operating systems
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills and a strong testing aptitude; Be able to re-produce reported potential system bugs by end users and create defect items for confirmed bugs in JIRA
- Experience with Agile methodology
- Experience with database testing and good understanding of SQL queries
- Strong knowledge of software quality assurance best practices
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Project life cycle experience in a structured development methodology
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
