Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Chandler, AZ. The Software Engineering team works on delivering software that has immediate, tangible results visible in the operation advanced robotic equipment. Compensation includes bonus/incentives in addition to the base salary range listed here. Responsibilities:

Requirements

• Educational background in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar field preferred
• At least 5 years of experience as a generalist or mid-stack software developer; 5-7 years in software development and software architecture preferred
• Strong software development skills in one or more general purpose programming languages: C , C#
  
  

Preferred experience working with some of the items listed below:

• Software for Machine Control
• Developing for Windows and Real-time Operating Systems
• Multi-threaded applications
• Experience with Stack Memory
• Real-time software
• Graphical User Interfaces (GUI)
• Device drivers or other interrupt driven software
• Data Communications, Networking and EtherCAT
• Complex dynamic scheduling algorithms with deadlocks avoidance
• Knowledge of programming tools such as text editors, debuggers, application builders and configuration management tools
• Comprehend software documentation including specification and design documents, communication interface specific
• Ability to read code and understand the functionality implemented and the ability to translate the functionality into another piece of software
  
  

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
