- Analyze complex software contracts, purchase histories, and licensing agreements to identify inconsistencies and errors
- Conduct deep data analysis to uncover discrepancies in large datasets and provide actionable insights
- Engage with stakeholders to understand how software assets are utilized across the organization
- Collaborate with various teams to source relevant data and piece together a complete picture of software usage
- Challenge vendors on licensing agreements and contract terms, ensuring compliance and cost efficiency
- Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership with data-backed justifications
- Drive process improvements for software asset management, ensuring a more structured and optimized approach
- Experience with non-standard software licensing in a large enterprise environment (preferably with 10,000 servers)
- Hands-on experience with software asset management (client-side) in a corporate setting
- Strong proficiency in data analysis and expertise in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, and advanced formulas)
- Experience with Flexera or similar SAM tools
- Strong analytical mindset with a problem-solving approach to chaotic and unstructured environments
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to present complex data insights to senior leadership and justify findings
- Experience working with multiple data sources across different teams
- Prior experience managing enterprise-level software contracts and licensing
- Familiarity with procurement processes, purchase orders (POs), and contract review
- Knowledge of best practices in software asset management frameworks
