Kforce has a client that is seeking a Software Engineer IV. This position is hybrid with 3 days/week onsite. The candidate can sit in Birmingham, Atlanta, Dallas or Nashville. Summary: The Software Engineer oversees application development, modification, and maintenance of applications. In this role, you will monitor system applications, ensure systems run smoothly, and create reports and other documentation outlining findings/solutions. Primary Responsibilities:

In this role, you will monitor system applications, ensure systems run smoothly, and create reports and other documentation outlining findings/solutions. Primary Responsibilities:
- Software Engineer will design and deploy new applications and enhancements to existing applications, software, and operation systems
- Design, develop and maintain high quality software solutions using .NET, Python and SQL
- Write clean, efficient and maintainable code, adhering to industry best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable solutions
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize software solutions for maximum efficiency
- Measures effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems
- As a Software Engineer, you will monitor and test system performance
- Oversees the training of junior engineers to improve job skills and work efficiency
- Typically has full ownership of a process
- May act as a procedural expert
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field
- Seven (7) years of experience
- Experience with both relational (SQL) and non-relational databases
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS
- Strong understanding of software design principles, REST APIs, and database integrations
- Strong expertise in CI/CD using tools such as GitHub Actions, Harness
- Proficiency in .NET and Python programming languages for development
- Thorough understanding of software structures, computing systems and how to integrate them
- Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong executional capabilities
- Experience with Snowflake or data engineering tasks is a plus
- Knowledge of UiPath for Robotic Process Automation is a plus
