Kforce has a client that is seeking a Space Planning Project Manager in Lowell, MA. Summary: The Space Management Project Manager is a critical role responsible for organizing, managing, and optimizing the space required for training and command center needs during the implementation of an Epic Electronic Health Records (EHR) system. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring that all space-related logistics are efficiently and effectively managed to support the successful implementation of the EHR system. Roles and Responsibilities: Space Planning and Allocation:

Roles and Responsibilities: Space Planning and Allocation:
- Understand space requirements for training and command center operations
- Take on and update space allocation plans, considering the specific needs of various project teams and the EHR implementation timeline
- Implement strategies to maximize space utilization and create a conducive environment for training and command center activities
- Proactively identify and address any space-related challenges or inefficiencies
- Work with training, command center, facilities, and technical teams to plan and execute a space and tech build out plan for all identified space
- Design and manage a space maintenance process; Develop a space onboarding program to orient staff to the space
- Coordinate with training, command center, and facilities leads in managing issues that arise and efficiently resolve issues
- With facilities teams, ensure that all allocated spaces comply with safety regulations, accessibility standards, and any other relevant requirements
- Implement and monitor safety protocols to protect the well-being of staff and visitors
- As necessary, work with project leadership to budget for space-related expenses, including rentals, furniture, equipment, and supplies
- Monitor and report on budget expenditures, ensuring cost-effectiveness
- To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed
- Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus
