Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Technology Sourcing Manager II to join our Transport Procurement team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technology procurement, vendor management, contract negotiation, and a deep understanding of Transport Networks. As a Technology Sourcing Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and managing relationships with technology vendors to ensure the best value and quality for the client. Key Responsibilities:

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.

- Technology Sourcing Manager will develop and maintain strategic relationships with technology vendors, evaluate performance, negotiate contracts, and ensure vendor compliance
- Implement sourcing strategies for Transport products and services, aligning with Client's business goals
- Conduct market analysis to identify potential vendors, assess trends, and stay informed about new technologies
- As a Technology Sourcing Manager, you will lead contract negotiations with technology vendors, ensuring favorable terms and compliance with regulatory and financial requirements
- Identify cost-saving opportunities through effective sourcing strategies and process improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand technology needs and ensure timely procurement of products and services
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in technology procurement, sourcing, or vendor management, preferably within the telecommunications or wireless industry
- Strong understanding of technology products and services, fiber optic networks, interconnection agreements, and datacenters
- Proven experience in contract negotiation and vendor management
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
