Kforce has a client in Chicago, IL that is seeking a Workday Financials Functional Consultant to support and improve key financial and operational configurations post-go-live, including assisting with future international market implementations. Key Responsibilities:
- Workday Financials Functional Consultant will design, configure, and implement Financial Data Model (FDM) and other core Workday modules
- Support and configure financial accounting processes within Workday
- Implement and manage business assets in Workday to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Configure and manage supplier accounts, ensuring proper integration and data accuracy
- Manage the Accounting Center to streamline accounting functions and processes
- Configure and support banking and settlement processes in Workday
- Oversee the configuration of customer accounts and manage related business processes
- Implement and support Adaptive Planning integrations within Workday
- As a Workday Financials Functional Consultant, you will build, configure, and troubleshoot EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder) integrations for Workday
- Develop custom integrations using Workday Studio for complex data transfers and processes
- Design and configure integrations using Workday's Core Connector
- Design, implement, and manage business processes within Workday to ensure efficient operations
- Hands-on experience with FDM, FEM, reporting tools, and financial systems configurations
- Experience working in an Agile environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Extensive experience working with Workday, with a focus on both Functional and Technical modules
- Proven expertise in the listed Functional and Technical areas
- Strong knowledge of Workday configurations, integrations, and business processes
- Knowledge of asset configuration and international asset requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to work independently to identify and resolve issues
- Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to explain configuration decisions to non-technical stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to build and modify reports, with an understanding of object selection and structure
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve integration and configuration issues effectively
