RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is looking for Advanced Software Developers. Qualified candidates will be analyzing user requirements and defining functional specifications using Agile methodologies; Leading multiple design, development, building, modeling, simulations and analysis efforts to uncover the best technical solution using the appropriate tools; Designing, developing, planning modifying and/or improving complex systems with Java 8, J2EE, Kafka, Spring Boot, Jira, RESTful, Microservices, Angular, Jenkins, CI/CD, and MySQL; Designing web components for reusability of web design features using HTML, CSS, SASS, React and JavaScript; Initiating or enhancing GUI execution and functionality via coding in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular and React; Developing and implementing Java application and application initiatives in a cloud environment using web-based and client-server technologies; Designing, developing and analyzing solutions for cloud-based applications using Spring Boot, Docker and Kubernetes; Developing engineering application logic for consuming and creating Web Services (RESTFUL) (SOAP vs. REST); Collaborating to migrate existing SOAP and REST services to Microservices and creating all new microservices in Java; Implementing microservices using cloud tools such as Google Cloud Platform or PCF platforms to build up Spring Boot services Following Test Driven Development and creating numerous test cases for unit testing of the code using Junit testing framework; Documenting modifications and enhancements made to the applications as required by the project; Providing guidance and subject matter expertise on testing and quality assurance methodologies and processes; and being a technical resource for direct communications to team members in the project development, testing and implementation processes.
Salary: $50.00 to $90.00/hr.
REQUIREMENTS:
Requirements: Bachelor's Degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Information Technology or Engineering and two years' experience in position or two years' experience in IT field.
Special requirements: Experience with Java, J2EE, Kafka, Spring Boot, Jira, RESTful, Microservices, Angular, Jenkins, CI/CD and MySQL. Up to 100% travel to various unanticipated domestic clients in US required.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
