Summary:
The ideal candidate will have experience with NCR/Aloha POS systems and will be responsible for managing menu items, panels, pricing, taxes, settings, and other configurations using Aloha's Configuration Center (CFC) tool. The Aloha POS Administrator will work closely with the rest of the retail IT team to ensure that the system is functioning optimally and meeting the needs of our client's business.
Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with the IT department to ensure the POS system is integrated with other systems as required
* The Aloha POS Administrator will provide training and support to restaurant managers and staff on the use of the POS system
* Monitor the performance of the POS system and troubleshoot any issues that arise
* Ensure that the POS system is updated with the latest software versions and security patches
* Ensure compliance with PCI DSS standards for payment card security
* Maintain accurate records of all configuration changes and system updates
* Document standard operating procedures for POS system administration and support
* As an Aloha POS Administrator, you will provide regular reports to management on the performance of the POS system
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
* At least 3 years of experience as an Aloha POS Administrator or similar role
* Experience with Aloha's Configuration Center (CFC) tool
* Experience with NCR or Aloha POS systems
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with others
* Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
* Willingness to work non-standard hours as needed to support system maintenance and upgrades
* Knowledge of PCI DSS standards for payment card security is a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
