RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Jacksonville, FL that is seeking an Applications Development Analyst to join their team.
Overview:
The Applications Development Analyst will be responsible for adhering to established development methodologies and standards throughout the entire lifecycle of application software, including system design, coding, testing, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing support. They will ensure the successful delivery of the final product, meeting both time and budgetary requirements. The role requires collaboration within a team environment, working closely with other developers, designers, testers, and project managers to achieve project goals.
Key Tasks:
* Participate in the design and development of database structures, including creating and troubleshooting complex stored procedures, triggers, SSIS packages, and SSRS reports
* Develop and optimize SQL queries, focusing on performance improvements and efficient code execution
* Proficient in working with .NET Core (latest version), SQL Server (latest version), Angular (current and previous versions), Node.js, and popular development environments like Visual Studio Code and Visual Studio, as well as front-end frameworks like Bootstrap
* Troubleshoot and debug code, ensuring proper unit testing and quality assurance practices are followed
* Advocate for best practices in coding, with an emphasis on secure development principles
* Contribute to problem-solving efforts using strong technical, time management, and analytical abilities
* Respond well to management instructions, executing tasks with efficiency and attention to detail
REQUIREMENTS:
* Experience with cloud-based project management and CI/CD tools, particularly Azure DevOps
* Experience with using Azure DevOps services such as Pipelines, Repos, and Boards for project management and deployment automation
* Strong understanding of responsive web development for both desktop and mobile platforms
* Excellent organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with others
* A curious mindset with a strong desire to continuously learn and grow, both technically and conceptually
* Highly motivated with a keen sense of business needs, able to translate requirements into functional and architectural solutions
* Able to manage smaller projects independently with minimal supervision
* Passionate about staying up to date with the latest industry developments and technological advancements
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
