RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is immediately seeking an experienced Automation Engineer in support of our enterprise telecommunications and mass media client based in Maryland Heights, MO.
Responsibilities:
* Automation Developer will design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, Junit and Cucumber (BDD) tests for web application testing
* Collaborate with development and product teams to create automated tests for functional, regression, and performance testing
* Develop, execute, and maintain test cases to ensure software meets business requirements and quality standards
* Utilize Java and JavaScript for creating automation test frameworks and scripts
* Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues
* Continuously improve the test suite by implementing best practices and optimizing test performance
* As an Automation Developer, you will ensure proper integration of the test automation suite with the CI/CD pipeline
* Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure high-quality code standards
* Keep up with the latest trends and technologies in test automation
REQUIREMENTS:
* Proven experience in test automation with Selenium, JUnit, and Cucumber
* Experience in writing and executing SQL queries for data validation
* Experience with test automation frameworks and CI/CD tools like Jenkins or similar
* Solid understanding of testing methodologies and Agile/Scrum practices
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Strong programming skills in Java, JavaScript, and Python
* Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly
* Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
Preferred Skills:
* Familiarity with additional test automation tools and frameworks
* Knowledge of version control systems like Git
* Java programming language
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
