RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an Azure/.Net Engineer in Brookfield, WI. In this role, you will participate in the technical design of application systems. You will develop and implement application systems by participating through the software development lifecycle from inception to delivery and beyond. The role is high touch position with a notable amount of collaboration across product teams and stakeholders to define requirements and understand how they fit into the end objective.
Project/Initiative Summary:
* Contractor will be working on migration of apps from on-prem infrastructure to Azure (and potentially some AWS/Google Cloud Platform) but Azure Cloud needed
* Will be working with pod teams to facilitate delivery
* Will assist in testing capabilities
* Will work on Replatforming of some apps from .NET48 to .NET80
Top Responsibilities of Role:
* Will be actively making coding changes related to our apps
* Will assist in testing of functionality
* Will be responsible for remediating vulnerabilities that may pop up due to obsolescence
* Will be required to work on required training
* Will potentially be assisting outside teams with their cloud journey
* Will be using Azure Portal to configure applications
REQUIREMENTS:
* 5 years of .Net experience
* 3 years of Azure Cloud experience
* CI/CD pipeline setup/execution (GitLab/Azure)
* Experience working with Azure Portal
* ASP.NET Core
* HTML5
* JavaScript
* CSS
* TSQL and working with SQL DBs
* EF Core
Nice to Have Skills/Experience:
* .NET60/.NET80 experience
* Blazor experience
* Microservice experience
* Insomnia/Postman/SwaggerUI/Splunk experience
* Ideally targeting Azure specialist with strong .Net experience
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
