BI Developer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client seeking a BI Developer in Miami, FL (Florida).

Responsibilities:
* The Business Intelligence (BI) Developer works collaboratively with end users to develop reporting systems that provide accessible information for decision-making
* Uses any available data to solve organizational problems through reports, analysis and data visualization
* The BI Developer will provide enterprise wide data warehouse expertise with emphasis on data design, access, usage, security and quality of information assets
* Work in support of all managers and users requiring data for decision support

REQUIREMENTS:
* 2-3 years of experience in business intelligence and data warehousing environments
* Strong TSQL scripting abilities and understanding of complex stored procedures, views, data aggregation/manipulation through table joins/queries, database design, normalization and de-normalization techniques
* Experience with MS SQL Server, Integration Services and Reporting Services
* Demonstrated experience in data extraction and manipulation, ETL techniques
* Possesses strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
* Knowledge of SQL and data warehousing concepts
* Ability to use presentation, word processing, and database or spreadsheet software
* Demonstrated attention to detail on ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of the data warehouse and the individual work units
* Demonstrated detailed knowledge of BI areas including ETL design, analytics and reporting
* Possesses strong oral and written communication skills, clearly and accurately communicating complex and/or technical information to both technical and nontechnical audiences
* Self-motivated; Able to work within a project based environment
* Ability to work in a team environment

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
