RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Business Analyst/Project Manager in Miami, FL (Florida).
Responsibilities:
* Business Analyst/Project Manager will collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, particularly related to permitting processes
* Analyze current permitting workflows, identify inefficiencies, and recommend process improvements
* Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful implementation of permitting solutions
* Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining scope, milestones, and risk assessments
* Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure project alignment with organizational goals
* As a Business Analyst/Project Manager, you will facilitate meetings, provide status updates, and ensure effective communication throughout the project lifecycle
* Support user acceptance testing (UAT), training, and documentation to ensure smooth adoption of new systems or processes
* Maintain detailed records of project activities, requirements, and decisions
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field preferred
* Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
* Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Project Manager with a focus on permitting systems
* Strong understanding of permitting processes and municipal regulations
* Experience managing projects that involve software implementation or process improvement
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
* Proficiency in project management tools and documentation platforms
* Availability to work on-site 3 days per week onsite
* Experience with government or public sector projects is a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
