Business Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Business Analyst in Birmingham, AL.

Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with a strong background in finance systems and enterprise applications to join a team supporting internal real estate platforms. This role requires a highly organized, self-directed professional who can hit the ground running, independently manage priorities, and serve as a critical link between technical teams and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with internal regional business units to gather, document, and analyze business requirements
* Translate functional business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements
* Work closely with development and product teams to support the development of application platforms
* Create comprehensive documentation, process flows, and user stories
* Maintain clear and organized tracking of requirements using Jira and Microsoft Office Suite
* Support communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders
* Identify opportunities for process improvement and assist in solution design

REQUIREMENTS:
* 6 years of Business Analyst experience
* Strong experience using Jira for issue tracking and workflow management
* Exceptional communication skills - both written and verbal
* Proven ability to write clear, thorough technical and functional documentation
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to translate business requirements into technical language and vice versa
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
* Background or experience in finance systems or financial processes
* Experience with project management (PM) or technical program management (TPM)
* Exposure to UI/UX concepts and application platform development
* Experience using Confluence for documentation
* Prior experience supporting or building internal enterprise applications

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
