RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Dublin, CA that is seeking a Business Continuity Analyst.
Responsibilities:
* Updating standards and policies, involved in crisis management and response, worked with crisis management
* Update and Maintain Business Continuity Plans: Revise and refresh existing plans annually
* Table-top Exercises: Create and lead scenario-based testing of business continuity plans
* Crisis Management: Actively engage in crisis response, taking notes, documenting lessons learned, and ensuring adherence to established playbooks
* Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): Draft and update SOPs as part of crisis management and continuity planning
* Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with internal stakeholders to update their BC Plans and ensure proper planning for risk mitigation or acceptance
* Risk Management: Analyze and assess risks to business operations, developing and recommending strategies for risk mitigation
* Ownership of Plans: Once trained, take full ownership of specific business continuity plans, managing them on an annual basis
REQUIREMENTS:
* DRII Certification (Disaster Recovery International Institute) is a plus
* CBCP (Certified Business Continuity Professional) is a plus
* 3-5 years of hands-on experience in business continuity planning, crisis management, and working with stakeholders
* Hands-on business continuity experience, includes having worked with stakeholders on updating BC plans
* Understand business analysis, mitigating risks, running tabletop exercises
* Proven experience in conducting BIA and developing BC plans
* Strong understanding of risk management and mitigation techniques
* Hands-on experience in table-top exercises and scenario-based testing
* Ability to work within defined playbooks for crisis management and incident response
* Proficiency in writing and updating SOPs
* Flexibility: Must be able to work in-office at least 2 days per week, with the potential for remote work otherwise
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
