RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is immediately adding a full-time Buyer in support of our nationally recognized, Consumer and Commercial Electronic R&D client in Corvallis, OR. In this role, the Buyer provides transactional procurement support across multiple sections and organizations.
Responsibilities:
* The Buyer uses subject matter expertise to resolve issues autonomously
* Collaborates with team and internal partners to ensure established processes are followed; Meet procurement guidelines and requirements
* Work with S4, Ariba, SAP, AMEX transactions, Microsoft Office and Chrome
* Daily transaction and interaction with Procurement Made Easy
* The Buyer will be purchasing Capital, Expense and Chemicals
* Software license purchasing support
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
* Developed Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and other analytical aids to help manage the operation
* Demonstrated business acumen and technical knowledge within area of responsibility
* Understanding of import/export regulatory requirements and compliance
* Moderate level of knowledge of inventory analysis
* Demonstrated leadership skills
* Self-starter; Bias for action
* Strong negotiation skills
* Energized by highly fluid environment
* Strong teamwork skills
* Strong trainer
* Fast learner
* Strong analytical and data modeling skills
* Strong interpersonal skills
* Strong communication skills in written form and verbally; Able to articulate requests to internal customers and external vendors effectively
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
