RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is seeking a Creative Contract Copywriter. This position can work from our Columbus, OH office or be remote.
Overview:
The Copywriter will work with Marketing Managers to conceive and develop creative, effective advertising copy for a range of diverse marketing projects and campaigns within PreK-12 Education. You will work with a variety of talented marketing managers, designers, writers, and other team members to collaborate on creating engaging stories that bring the narratives of our brand and products to life. The Copywriter participates in marketing project launch meetings, and then works with the projects' initiators to develop concise, creative copy. Marketing copy must meet both corporate requirements for branding and product-specific marketing campaign demands.
In this role, you will be writing and editing copy for social media, websites, fliers, brochures, e-mails, blogs, events, program overviews, and more. Each day they will work directly with the designers daily and meet every morning. They will work with the client and work with the designer to tell the story and review/proofing. This person must be able to ask questions if they need clarification.
Copywriters help connect students and educators across the country to learning solutions that engage, inspire, and transform. Our team needs individuals whose words have the power to guide each student's unique path to growth.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree; However, the ability to write creative copy is a greater asset than a degree
* 3 years copywriting experience preferred
* Previous experience working on multiple projects simultaneously and the ability to partner cross-functionally in a professional manner
* Previous experience with print and digital copy strongly preferred
* Excellent editing and proofing skills and a diligent eye for language, flow, and grammar
* Ability to augment and enhance previously provided copy to obtain desired results
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
