RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Merrimack, NH that is seeking a Data Engineer.
Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes to support data integration and transformation
* Collaborate with business analysts, data analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions
* Implement and optimize data models to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval
* Work with newer technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks, or Microsoft Fabric to build scalable and robust data solutions
* Perform data quality checks and ensure data accuracy and consistency
* Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues to ensure data availability and reliability
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data engineering and incorporate them into our data strategy
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
* Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
* Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala
* Knowledge of finance domain and related data requirements
* Strong experience in data modeling and designing efficient data structures
* Solid understanding of ETL processes and data integration techniques
* Experience with SQL and other database technologies
* Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and best practices
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Strong communication and collaboration skills
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
