RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Records Manager for their Data Privacy Team in Austin, TX. The duration of the assignment is 6 to 12 months.
Key Responsibilities:
* Records Manager will develop and implement a records retention program tailored for a complex multi-national organization
* Advise on the management, classification, and storage of company records
* Coordinate with various departments to ensure proper records handling and retention practices
* Develop general and targeted training on records management practices and conduct staff training
* As a Records Manager, you will develop processes to manage the lifecycle of records, including creation, maintenance, and disposal
* Develop a records management procedures manual
* Utilize records management software and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Library Science, or a related field
* Minimum 5 years of experience as a Records Manager or a similar role
* Strong understanding of records management principles and best practices
* Experience in developing and implementing records retention programs
* Excellent organizational and communication skills
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
* Proficiency in records management software and tools
* Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to records management
Preferred Qualifications:
* Certification in Records Management (CRM) or similar credential
* Experience working in a multi-national organization
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
