RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client is seeking two skilled Desktop Support Technicians to join their device replacement program team in Phoenix, AZ. This annual program is dedicated to replacing business computers that are no longer under warranty and are at least five years old. The goal is to ensure the appropriate technology is in place to meet new software requirements and provide staff with efficient and reliable equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Execute device replacement plans to replace approximately 2,500 computers during the fiscal year
* Perform computer imaging and ensure proper configuration of new devices
* Conduct rollouts and refreshes of desktop equipment
* Address and resolve technical issues that arise during the replacement process
* Collaborate with team members to ensure minimal disruption to day-to-day operations
REQUIREMENTS:
* Proven experience in desktop support, particularly in executing refreshes and rollouts
* Proficiency in imaging computers
* Experience with Tanium is a plus
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Additional Information:
* Interviews will be conducted remotely
* This position requires 100% onsite presence in downtown Phoenix, AZ
* Initial contract length is one year
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
