RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a DevOps Engineer in Boston, MA.
Key Responsibilities:
* DevOps Engineer will participate in crafting architecture documents
* Create design artifacts and support prototyping
* Lead validation activities for assigned modules for all types of testing
* Support the creation of -Go Live- plan and lead assigned activities in the plan
* Perform root-cause analysis of any issues that arise post-implementation and work on appropriate solutions
* Participate in Knowledge Transfer sessions, prepare system appreciation documents and support the transition process
* As a DevOps Engineer, you will conduct impact analysis of issues logged, prioritize and ensure that production support is provided as per committed SLAs
* Lead code pipeline and automation projects
* Support and mentor other team members to bolster the team's effectiveness
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent required from an accredited institution; Will also consider three years of dynamic experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
* At least 3 years of experience in GitHub with GitHub Actions
* Extensive experience with AWS: instance management, parameter store, general administration
* Experience with package managers
* In-depth knowledge of monitoring and logging tools
* Good experience in continuous integration and release engineering
* Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in scripting languages
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
