RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a DevOps Engineer in Pleasanton, CA (2 days onsite per week) for a 6-months contract with potential extensions.
Summary:
We are looking for a Cloud DevOps Engineer with expertise in Azure and Google Cloud Platform to build and manage cloud environments, implement CI/CD pipelines, and drive cloud automation. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with cloud services, DevOps tools, and container orchestration.
Responsibilities:
* Cloud Environment Setup: Build and manage cloud environments on Azure and Google Cloud Platform, leveraging services such as Resource Groups (RG), IAM, subscriptions, storage, networking, Sentinel, NAT Gateway (NAG), Data Lakes, and Container Registry
* CI/CD Implementation: Design and maintain end-to-end DevSecTestOps pipelines using GitHub Actions and ensure efficient pipeline automation
* Cloud Automation: Develop and manage Terraform and Ansible scripts for infrastructure provisioning and automation
* DevOps Tools Management: Work with SonarQube, Twistlock, Artifactory, and Veracode for security, compliance, and artifact management
* Kubernetes & Containerization: Deploy and manage applications using Kubernetes (AKS/GKE) and Docker for containerized workloads
REQUIREMENTS:
* Building Environments on Azure Cloud and Google Cloud Platform Cloud - Good experience working with various Azure and Google Cloud Platform services like RG, IAM, subscriptions, storage, net, sent, nag, data lakes, container registry, etc.
* Building End to End CI/CD (DevSecTestOps Pipeline) CI/CD: Having good experience in managing the GitHub actions platform
* Kubernetes (AKS and GKE): Having good experience working on Kubernetes and using docker
* Experience in Building Dashboard using Grafana or similar like Datadog or Splunk
* Cloud Automation: Well-versed with Terraform and Ansible
* DevOps tools: SonarQube, Twistlock, Artifactory, and Veracode tools
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
