Embedded System Architect

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in need of an Embedded System Engineer for a contract-to-hire role in Utah Valley, UT.

Key Tasks:
* Collaborate on project development
* Focus on hardware systems engineering
* As an Embedded System Engineer, you will evaluate different performances, speeds, and FPGA
* Take a higher-level view beyond just schematics
* Determine the parts used within the system, how they are connected, and their applications

REQUIREMENTS:
* Proficiency in reading schematics
* Coding experience in C and Python
* Ability to understand and integrate code with schematics
* Aerospace experience is preferred
* Familiarity with DO178 and DO254 FAA guidelines for aircraft design is preferred
* FPGA experience is a significant plus

Additional Information:
* While current hands-on development in C and Python is not mandatory, it is beneficial for verifying and validating assumptions through scripts and code

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
