RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Maryland Heights, MO that is seeking a Front-End React Developer to enhance and expand a user-facing portal built with React. While the backend is powered by Python, this role will focus exclusively on front-end development.
Responsibilities:
* Front-End React Developer will enhance and maintain a front-end portal built with React, improving usability, performance, and scalability
* Collaborate with backend developers to integrate front-end components with APIs (primarily FastAPI or similar frameworks)
* Translate UI/UX designs into functional, responsive components and pages
* As a Front-End React Developer, you will ensure consistent styling, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility
* Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to maintain high code quality
* Work in a cloud-native development environment using AWS infrastructure
REQUIREMENTS:
* Proven experience in React development, including component-based architecture and state management (e.g., Redux or Context API)
* Solid experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript
* Experience with AWS cloud services
* Understanding of RESTful APIs and experience working with FastAPI, Flask, or similar backend frameworks
* Familiarity with AWS services such as S3, CloudFront, or Amplify for front-end hosting and deployment
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in UI/UX implementation
Preferred Skills:
* Python familiarity
* Familiarity with CI/CD workflows and version control using Git
* Knowledge of responsive design and accessibility best practices
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
