Full Stack Java React Developer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Full Stack Java React Developer in Maryland Heights, MO.

Summary:
We are seeking a versatile Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team in enhancing and building large-scale enterprise applications. This role requires someone who is comfortable working across the stack, with a particular focus on front-end development using ReactJS. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable switching between front-end and back-end work, thrives in a dynamic environment, and has a strong foundation in Java, React, and Python.

Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and enhance scalable enterprise-level applications
* Collaborate cross-functionally with backend Java developers and other team members
* Take ownership of React-based UI enhancements and new features
* Write clean, maintainable code in Java, Python, and JavaScript/React
* Debug and resolve technical issues across the stack
* Stay up to date with emerging technologies and suggest innovative solutions
* Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
* Proven experience with Java, ReactJS, and Python
* Experience with RESTful APIs and microservice architecture
* Strong understanding of modern front-end development principles and design patterns
* Strong problem-solving and communication skills
* Ability to context-switch between front-end and back-end development tasks

Preferred Skills:
* Experience using Kite (AI-powered coding assistant)
* Familiarity with AWS services (e.g., Lambda, S3, ECS)
* Exposure to AWS Kendra or similar enterprise search technologies

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
