RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer in Salt Lake City, UT.
Overview:
The Intermediate Full Stack Developer will be responsible for building, testing, and maintaining scalable web applications and services that support our product strategy. Working within a dynamic Solution Engineering team, you will help translate business requirements into high-quality, cloud-native solutions, leveraging modern web technologies and following best practices in software development.
Department Overview:
As part of our Solution Engineering department, you will contribute to software development, infrastructure, security, and DevOps initiatives. You will work closely with product owners, technical architects, and fellow developers to continuously improve our systems in a microservices, API-driven, and cloud-based environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain both front-end and back-end components using Python, C#, and modern web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks)
* Collaborate with product owners, designers, and technical architects to implement technical requirements and deliver business value
* Design, develop, and deploy microservices and RESTful APIs on Azure while leveraging containerization with Docker
* Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code while participating in code reviews and agile ceremonies
* Assist in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and support DevOps initiatives
* Troubleshoot, test, and maintain applications to ensure strong optimization and functionality
* Contribute to system improvements by identifying potential performance or security issues
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
* 5 years of professional full stack development experience
* Proficiency in Python and/or C# with exposure to developing microservices and API-driven systems
* Experience with front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and modern JavaScript frameworks
* Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably Azure, and containerization tools like Docker
* Working knowledge of relational databases (e.g., SQL Server)
* Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as Jira or Confluence
* Strong analytical skills and effective communication abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with CI/CD pipeline development and DevOps practices
* Exposure to additional cloud environments (AWS or Google Cloud Platform) is a plus
* Previous work on data-centric or financial product applications
* Understanding of security best practices in a regulated environment
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
