RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Utah County that is seeking a highly skilled Google Cloud Platform Cloud Engineer with expertise in video and image processing within Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
Summary:
The ideal candidate will utilize Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, Vertex AI, Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Google Cloud Storage (GCS), and Firestore to build and maintain robust cloud solutions. This role requires ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of cloud-based applications while monitoring and optimizing cloud resources for cost-efficiency and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain cloud solutions using Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, Vertex AI, GKE, GCS, and Firestore
* Implement video and image processing solutions within Google Cloud Platform
* Ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of cloud-based applications
* Monitor and optimize cloud resources to ensure cost-efficiency and performance
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement cloud architecture and best practices
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and applications
* Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in cloud computing and Google Cloud Platform
REQUIREMENTS:
* Extensive experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform)
* Proficiency in working with Google Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, and Kubernetes
* Hands-on experience with Vertex AI, GKE, GCS, and Firestore
* Strong understanding of cloud architecture and best practices
* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
* Experience in video and image processing within Google Cloud Platform
Preferred Qualifications:
* Certification in Google Cloud Platform
* Experience with other cloud platforms and technologies
* Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
