Kforce has a client that is seeking a IAM Security Engineer in Salt Lake City, UT.
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer to support our client's Technical Security team in strengthening access controls, automating manual workflows, and driving the development of a comprehensive identity governance strategy. You will play a critical role in optimizing IAM processes and implementing effective access governance to safeguard the organization's digital assets.
Key Responsibilities:
* Strategic Development: Work with stakeholders to identify access control gaps and refine the IAM roadmap to align with business objectives
* Implementation: Support the deployment of identity governance solutions and ensure seamless system integration
* Policy Creation: Develop and maintain identity governance policies, procedures, and standards to enhance security
* Process Optimization: Identify automation opportunities to streamline identity management processes, reducing manual tasks
* Risk Management: Assess identity governance risks and implement mitigation strategies
* Training & Support: Provide training on identity governance tools and best practices
* Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of identity governance processes, policies, and standards
* Compliance: Develop IAM policies that align with industry regulations and address governance deficiencies
* Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits to ensure IAM practices meet compliance requirements
* Reporting: Generate reports on IAM metrics and provide insights for continuous improvement
Key Projects:
* CyberArk Privileged Cloud Expansion: Enhance privileged account management by increasing the adoption and oversight of CyberArk Privileged Cloud
* YubiKey Deployment Strategy: Evaluate and improve the organization's YubiKey deployment strategy, ensuring robust multi-factor authentication practices
REQUIREMENTS:
* Proven experience in implementing identity governance processes and IAM best practices
* Proficiency in Microsoft Entra and Azure Active Directory
* Experience with CyberArk Privileged Cloud and Conjur
* Advanced PowerShell scripting skills for automation
* Hands-on experience with YubiKey deployment and management
* Understanding of authentication and authorization protocols (SAML, OIDC, OAuth)
* Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with industry regulations related to identity governance
* Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities for diagnosing complex IAM challenges
* Communication Skills: Ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
* Collaboration: Proven ability to work cross-functionally with diverse teams
* Certifications: Preferred certifications include Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate
Desired Qualifications:
* Industry Experience: Experience in a regulated industry such as insurance or finance
* Project Management: Experience managing IAM projects from planning to execution
* Experience with Power BI
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
