RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an Information Security Specialist in Minneapolis, MN.
Responsibilities:
* Information Security Specialist will provide technical support of activities, processes, and tools for protecting technology-based information
* Provides technical support to clients, management, security administrators, and network operations
* Reviews, develops, tests, and implements security plans, products, and control techniques
* Reviews circumstances surrounding data security incidents and designs corrective actions
* As an Information Security Specialist, you will document security policies and procedures
* Provides implementation support for risk assessment and data security procedures and products
REQUIREMENTS:
* Unix/Linux access configuration (users/groups/sudoers/pam/sssd/vas) - 5 years
* Scripting language Bash/Perl/etc. - 5 years
* Networking subnets, routes, firewalls, troubleshooting - 2 years
* Git/version control - 1 years
* Python development - 1 years
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
