RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Milford, MA that is seeking an IT Infrastructure Engineer.
Responsibilities:
* IT Infrastructure Engineer will design and implement a robust, reliable, and secure wired and wireless network infrastructure for the new manufacturing facility
* Design and implement a robust, reliable, and secure data center infrastructure for the new data center manufacturing facility
* Ensure interoperability of the new network & data center infrastructure with existing network and data center infrastructure
* Design and implement integration of existing and new Manufacturing, Automation, Supply Chain, and Operations Technology solutions & services
* Identify, propose, design, and deliver solutions that enable optimal user experience of network and data center capabilities to improve work efficiency, which can include leveraging cloud infrastructure services
* As an IT Infrastructure Engineer, you will adhere to and perform all work under IT Project Management policies and procedures
* Document all work procedures information in the IT knowledge repository
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in a computer related field or equivalent experience
* Completed studies or certification in network engineering such as CCNP, CCNA or CCIE; VMware Certified and/or Extreme Network certifications preferred
* 5 years of technical networking and/or data center experience
* Experience working with Cisco or Extreme Networks wired and Wi-Fi technologies required
* Experience working with Cloud Environments; Azure & Extreme Network Cloud Management preferred
* Experience working with Microsoft Windows & SQL and VMWare server technologies required
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
