RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an experienced IT Support L2 technician for a contract position in Waukesha, WI. This will be an onsite position.
Responsibilities:
* Diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware problems and help our employees install applications and programs
* Providing end user support, resolving network issues, configuring operating systems
* Asset management and using remote desktop connections to provide immediate support
* Use email, text and chat applications to give clients quick answers to simple IT issues
REQUIREMENTS:
* High school diploma/GED or technical school diploma required
* Degree in a relevant field, like Computer Science, IT or Software Engineering desired
* ITIL v4 foundation knowledge or certification required; Additional certification in Microsoft, Linux, Cisco or similar technologies is a plus
* 3 years, including internships, of work experience in Technical Support, Desktop Support, IT Help Desk Technician or similar role
* Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux/Mac OS environments desired
* Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, Microsoft Suite and other tech products
* Tech savvy with familiarity in remote desktop applications and help desk software
* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
* Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues
* Ability to provide step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal
* Flexibility to work in day and afternoon shifts
* Knowledge of another language (e.g. Spanish) and experience working in a multicultural environment is a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
