Java Developer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Salt Lake City, UT that is seeking a talented Java Developer to join their dynamic team.

Responsibilities:
* Java Developer will develop, test, and maintain high-quality Java applications
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
* Implement and maintain PostgreSQL databases
* Utilize programming languages such as Java, Spring Boot, and JavaScript to develop robust applications
* Perform data mapping of source data sets to FHIR resources and implement FHIR standards
* As a Java Developer, you will work with AWS Cloud services and AWS DevOps to deploy and manage applications
* Ensure the security of APIs through OAuth and other security measures
* Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
* 3 years of experience with Java development
* Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and programming languages such as Java, Spring Boot, and JavaScript
* 6 months of hands-on experience with FHIR, including FHIR implementation and data mapping
* Understanding of AWS Cloud services and AWS DevOps
* Hands-on experience with OAuth
* Experience in securing APIs
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with additional cloud platforms and DevOps tools
* Knowledge of healthcare data standards and interoperability

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
