RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Fremont, CA that is seeking a Lab Service Engineer.
Responsibilities:
* The Lab Service Engineer provides engineering and project management support to the company's labs including diagnosing, troubleshooting, maintenance, upgrades and repair of complex semiconductor manufacturing systems
* Serves as an internal liaison either with business units on how the company's tools work together or with the R&D Lab, Process Development and Hardware Engineering departments in supporting R&D
* Supports prototype design and R&D activities on semiconductor equipment
* The Lab Service Engineer assists process engineering with troubleshooting film properties including particles, thickness and uniformity
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline, or one of the following: 4 years of military experience; 4 years of experience working on electrical, troubleshooting and repair; Associate's degree with 2 years of electro-mechanical experience; High School diploma (or GED) with 5 years of equivalent industry experience; maintaining and troubleshooting equipment
* Able to multi-task with shifting priorities while working independently and effectively communicating
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
